RTV China Media and Marketing House GmbH, which was established in January 1999 from a merger between China Contact GmbH and RTV China Media & Production House GmbH, has very successfully built up three different business activities in the high growth Chinese media market over the past years. In cooperation with local network operators, RTV Broadband will offer attractive multimedia content (movies, TV series, music, games and much more) to the rapidly growing number of broadband subscribers in China. RTV Broadband's unique multimedia portal will be promoted to China's iTV users under the registered trade mark "Yerumedi". The Company's business strategy is primarily focused on the aggregation of highly attractive content and its successful marketing to China's iTV users with a remarkably low cost-structure. The Company is using latest iTV technologies from Microsoft, OpenTV, Liberate, etc. for the deployment of its multimedia portal in broadband networks and does not develop any proprietary iTV technologies by itself. The Company will also refrain from any investments in capital intensive iTV infrastructures such as Set Top Boxes (STB) as these expenditures will be made by the local Chinese broadband operators.Airspace's main business is to secure long-term agency rights for prime media assets from Chinese media groups and to sell the respective advertising times to the advertising industry on a commission basis. Airspace's business strategy is exclusively focused on delivering high value-added services to both media owners and the advertising industry while maintaining a very cost efficient business organization. The radio shows are aired in up to 14 different provinces throughout China, reaching up to 500 million people in key areas such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.Airspace 2002 Revenue increases 32%
